Duplex 10Gbps SFP+ Optical Transceivers

The enhanced small form-factor pluggable, SFP+, is a very compact 10 Gbps optical transceiver module for serial optical communication applications at 10Gbps. The module converts a 10Gbps serial electrical data stream to 10Gbps optical output signal and a 10Gbps optical input signal to 10Gbps serial electrical data streams. Unlike previous Ethernet standards, 10 Gigabit Ethernet defines only full duplex point-to-point links. Like previous versions of Ethernet, 10 Gigabit Ethernet can use either copper or fiber cabling.

Lasermate Group, Inc. supplies 10G SFP+ transceivers with 850nm VCSEL as the transmitter for the multimode fiber and with 1310nm laser and 1550nm laser as the transmitters for the single mode fiber in SONET OC-192/SDH, 10G Fiber Channel, 10GBASE-SR/SW Ethernet, 10GBASER-LR/LW Ethernet, 10GBASE-ER/EW Ethernet, 10GBASE-ZR/ZW Ethernet applications.
