(1) RML-655 is a multimode diode laser module, so the beam quality is not as good as the diode pumped solid-state 671nm laser, RML-671nm. The beam spot of RML-655 laser is nearly square.

(2) The stability of output power is promised at the maximum output power only. The stability of output power may change when you adjust the output power. For example, the stability of output power at the maximum output power is <5%, the stability may change to >5% when you adjust the output power down.
