PULSED AND CW FIBER LASERS: 266nm to 1550nm

Lasermate Group, Inc. offers fiber lasers in wavelengths of 266nm, 355nm, 532nm, 1064nm, 1080nm and 1550nm for various applications. Different from fiber coupled lasers, the fiber laser is a variation of the standard diode pumped solid-state laser where laser light is emitted by a dopant, such as ytterbium and erbium, in the central core of the fiber. The fiber host used in fiber laser is usually silica lass with a rare earth dopant, such as ytterbium and erbium, in the core. The Ytterbium dopant fiber lasers have center wavelengths from 1030nm to 1100nm. The Erbium dopant fiber lasers emit wavelengths from 1530nm to 1620nm. Fiber lasers are used in applications of scientific research, life science, material processing, microelectronics, interference, military defense, laser marking, medical cosmetology, LIDAR, wind sensing, security, etc. They are also commonly used in communication, radar, optical instrument, interference, medical cosmetology, holography, spectrum analysis, measurement, pump source, physics experiments and many other applications.

Our fiber lasers are constructed with compact OEM modular design that is ideal for systems integration. Our fiber lasers are categorized into groups based on operation mode (pulsed or CW), pulse width (less than 10ps picosecond, 100-900ps picosecond or 0.5-50ns nanosecond) and longitudinal mode (single or multi). Our 1550nm fiber laser is in single longitudinal and polarized mode. Pulsed mode up to 1MHz modulation and pulse duration variation are also available.
