Description

Lasermate Fiber Channel/Gigabit Ethernet 850nm Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) with link budget 8.5dB is a compact optical transceiver capable of optical gigabit transmission over inexpensive multimode fiber for distances up to 550m.

Innovative design principles allow this product to meet EMI requirements as well as all CDRH and EN 60825-1 Class 1 eye safety requirements. A long wavelength version of this device for single mode fiber is also available.
